How a Giving them Wings Foundation Food Garden begins. In our adopted schools and centres of focus we idtentify problems areas that can be converted into sustainable living projects.
In 2019 our flagship school Fumisukoma Primary In Motherwell place 1st nationally in the InMed health in action awards through our sustainable living projects program at the school.
Our program mentors award winning gardeners and community focused young minds. In 2019 Xabiso Jack and Oyama Jantjies were recognized as young Heroes by PnP for sharing their school garden harvest with the elderly around their school.

The Giving Them Wings Foundation prides itself in striving to meet the Sustainable Development Goals of No Poverty and Zero Hunger in the communities where we work. We achieve this by educating young people on food production.
Our Eco-Brick project serves as an emphasis on the importance of recycling and reusing plastics. Our learners have created hundreds of Eco-Bricks which we have converted to chairs and benches for their use at school.
